Senior Christine Abayan and junior Erlyn Rudico split a pair of matches Thursday at the Wilson/ITA Central Region Women's Tennis Championships in Salt Lake City. The Falcon duo won their first-round match, 8-4, over Caroline Drugge and Karlie Hancock of Weber State, but lost in the second round to Evgenia Kryuchkova and Leigh Walsh of Utah, 8-3. [+]

Two members of the Air Force women's tennis team lost in the first round of qualifying Wednesday at the 2008 Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships in Salt Lake City. Senior Meghan Kiser lost, 6-0, 6-2, to Yuliana Svistun of Kansas, while junior Erlyn Rudico dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Natalia Salum of New Mexico State. [+]
