 Air Force Heads to Nike Cup, Arizona Diving Invitational11/18/2008-M. Swimming The Air Force men's and women's swimming teams return to action this week, Nov. 20-22, for the premier event of the fall season, the annual Nike Cup, hosted by UC Irvine. Meanwhile, the men's and women's diving teams will head to Tucson, Ariz., for the Arizona Diving Invitational, Nov. 21-22. [+]Falcons Split in Home Opener Versus TCU11/13/2008-M. Swimming In their first home meet of the season, the Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams split against visiting conference foe TCU Thursday evening at Cadet Natatorium. The men defeated TCU, 128-105, to improve to 5-5 overall on the year, 1-0 in the Mountain West Conference. Meanwhile the women fell, 128-111, and drop to 4-9 overall, 0-4 in the MWC. [+]Air Force Hosts TCU to Open Home Slate11/12/2008-M. Swimming The Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams host their first home meet of the season on Nov. 13, as they welcome TCU for a conference dual meet. The meet is slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Cadet Natatorium. [+]Air Force Drops Three on Day Two at Anteater Shootout11/8/2008-M. Swimming Competing in the top half of the eight-team bracket, the Air Force men's swimming and diving team went 0-3 on day two of the Anteater Shootout, hosted by UC Irvine. The Falcons fell to Hawaii, 78-35, BYU, 62-51, and UNLV, 68-45. [+]Falcons Go 2-1 on Opening Day of Anteater Shootout11/7/2008-M. Swimming In a four-team competition, the Air Force men's swimming and diving team picked up two victories on the first day of the Anteater Shootout, hosted by UC Irvine. The Falcons defeated the host Anteaters, 95-45, and Cal Poly, 85-53, but fell to Hawaii, 94-46. [+]Air Force Men Earn a Split in First Dual Action of the Season10/25/2008-M. Swimming With three first-place finishes and five second-place showings, the Air Force men's swimming and diving team went 1-1 in their first dual meets of the season on Saturday, falling to host Denver, 138-102, while defeating Colorado School of Mines, 204-39.
