Air Force Beats UNLV, 1-0, in Season Finale

Freshman Andrew Golz scored the first goal of his career Sunday, giving the Air Force men's soccer team a 1-0 victory over UNLV in the season finale for both teams in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's soccer action at Peter Johann Memorial Field in Las Vegas. The Falcons finish their 2008 season with a 5-13 overall record and a 3-7 mark in the MPSF, while UNLV finished at 8-9-1 and 3-7 in the conference. [+]

Falcons Fall to New Mexico, 4-1

Chris Wright scored two goals to lead the New Mexico men's soccer team to a 4-1 victory over Air Force Friday night at the UNM Soccer Complex. The Lobos outshot the Falcons 20-11 and improved to 10-6-2 on the season and 6-3-0 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play. The Falcons fell to 4-13-0 on the season and 2-7-0 in league play. [+]

Nick Cukar scored the game's only goal in the 37th minute and Richard Mann posted his second shutout of the season Sunday to lead the San Jose State men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Air Force at Cadet Soccer Stadium.
