Jody Bailey Named Men's and Women's Basketball Video Coordinator

Jody Bailey joins the Air Force men's and women's basketball programs this season as video coordinator. Bailey comes to the Academy after spending two years as an NBA regional scout for Marty Blake and Associates.

Bailey will oversee all video aspects for the basketball programs and assist with scouting. He has over 10 years of coaching experience at many different levels. Prior to joining Marty Blake and Associates, Bailey was the head basketball coach at Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, a college preparatory school in McDonough, Ga., for two seasons.

He is a 1995 graduate of the University of Louisville, where he received a bachelor's degree in physical education, then earned a master's degree in physical education and sports administration from Louisville in 1997. From 1993-95, he was a volunteer assistant coach for the Cardinals, who were coached by Denny Crum.

In addition, Bailey has also coached at Calvary Christian Academy (Montgomery, Ala.), Indiana University - Southeast (New Albany, Ind.), Beth Haven Christian School (Louisville, Ky.), Kentucky Wesleyan College (Owensboro, Ky.) and Tennessee Temple University (Chattanooga, Tenn.).

Bailey and his wife, Joy, have been married for four years.
