Freshman Simone Barrette took first place in the senior women's epee event. Junior Daniel Trapani took second in senior mixed epee followed by junior Peter French who tied third. Junior Michael O'Connor took second place in senior mixed saber and senior Angelica Plazas tied third in senior women's saber.]]></description>

Kelsey, who graduated in 2003, was one of the Academy's top fencers in the program. His illustrious Academy career included the men's epee national title in 2003, four All-America selections, and the No. 1-ranking in the country, which he still holds today. Following graduation, Kelsey entered the Air Force World Class Athlete Program and was selected to represent the United States in the 2004 Olympics.
